The latest horror anthology to emerge from Thailand is a truly shocking and horror-filled affair, but in all the wrong ways.The anthology film has been a staple of the horror genre for decades, and mirrors the time-honoured tradition of gathering around a campfire to tell scary stories in quick succession, with each one out to top the previous effort. Examples of this format being employed in Asian Cinema can be traced back at least to Kobayashi Masaki's 1964 classic, Kwaidan - and probably even further. The last decade has seen a resurgence of the anthology film, both in Asia (Three, 4bia, Hy5teria), and in the West (V/H/S, The ABCs of Death), and have proved particularly successful at showcasing the talents of upcoming directors, as well...

In preparation for the February release of their new album, Push the Sky Away, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds had a great idea about who could helm the music video for the stupidly-titled first single, "We No Who U R" - none other than visionary provocateur filmmaker Gaspar Noé.Unfortunately for Nick and the lads, Noé didn't seem to want to reach into his vast well of visual mind-explosions, and instead decided to deliver some found-footage inspired stuff, featuring a looming shadow wandering through some woods. Every year during Christmas time it's a tradition for Coca-Cola to present an animated commercial with their mascot polar bears as part of their marketing campaign.  This year, the company has collaborated with producer Ridley Scott and the digital effects company Animal Logic to produce an entire short film, The Polar Bears.
