| Die Antwoord and Neill Blomkamp wrap on CHAPPIE Posted: 01 Mar 2014 01:30 AM PST  Die Antwoord's Ninja and Yo-landi Vi$$er have recently wrapped on Chappie, Neill Blomkamp's upcoming sci-fi comedy. They play themselves as the film's (human) leads, with Sharlto Copley voicing the film's robot namesake. This South African acting triad will be accompanied by some rather recognizable Hollywood names, including Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, and Dev Patel.Ninja took to Facebook to reflect on the experience, and offers some illuminating tidbits. Most interesting is the fact that Ninja and Yo-landi worked with Blomkamp for two years before the film began shooting, which furthers my suspicion that they will leave a creative mark on this film that transcends their acting roles. | Posted: 28 Feb 2014 04:00 PM PST  At 61 years of age, you'd expect Liam Neeson to earn his money in serious acting dramas, picking up some extra cash with an action-y cameo or two in the next Expendables film. However, his output of the last few years shows him to have become an incredibly reliable action star in his own right, one of the few people able to lure an audience into a cinema on the sole promise of seeing him kick ass. It's an amazing stage in his movie career, which saw him often used as a brutish lout early on, then typecast for years as a suave gentleman, and currently as a believable action man.
