In a shocking display of wordwide unity, every cinema in the world will be playing John Carpenter's Halloween tonight! Not really, of course, but it may seem that way. In the UK, the film is showing at all VUE cinemas this evening -- scroll down this page for listings. In the US, Halloween has received its widest release in years, with many of the screenings starting last week, though some are yet to be held. Just in my city alone, the Texas Theatre will be showing a 35mm print tonight, followed by seasonally-appropriate festivities; a few miles away, a small upscale shopping mall plans an outdoor screening. It has been a looong time coming but Justin McConnell's vampire flick The Eternal is finally getting underway in 2013! Raven Banner Entertainment will be handling worldwide sales for the upcoming Canadian vampire flick. Michael Biehn has already been announced for the cast and we have been let in on some other names yet to be announced, as well as Justin's wish list for acting talent.
