| Watch Spencer Susser's Newest Short Film EUGENE Online Right Now Posted: 09 Dec 2012 07:30 PM PST  When I was writing about Nash Edgerton and Spencer Susser's epic short film The Captain yesterday, I was interested to see that Susser had also directed another short in 2012 called Eugene - produced by Ben Gilovitz who also produced The Captain and Ariel Kleiman's short masterpiece Deeper Than Yesterday. So I knew I had to track this baby down. Then when I was trying to navigate YouTube's atrocious new layout today, I realised that Blue Tongue Films had uploaded Susser's new film in late November, and I've included it below for your viewing pleasure. It seems that Eugene is part of a branded content series for Intel's Ultrabook, and in Susser's style is a sweet little comedy that involves sudden violence.Check out the short below,... |

| BODYGUARDS AND ASSASSINS Star Wang Xueqi Joins IRON MAN 3 Posted: 09 Dec 2012 05:27 AM PST  Deadline is reporting that veteran Chinese actor Wang Xueqi, who starred alongside Donnie Yen, Nicholas Tse and Leon Lai in Teddy Chen's 2009 film Bodyguards And Assassins, has been cast in Shane Black's Iron Man 3. Wang's name has long been associated with the Marvel/DMG co-production, which will resume filming in Beijing on Monday, but the news is apparently now official. According to the report, Wang will be taking on the "villainous" role of Dr. Wu, rather than that of Chen Lu, which actor Andy Lau was at one time connected to, and is the alter-ego of villain Radioactive Man.Wang will appear opposite Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce and Sir Ben Kingsley, among others, in the latest installment of Marvel's multi-faceted superhero juggernaut.... |

Penned by original scriptwriter Manfred Wong, this reboot of the hugely popular series of 1990s movies - based on the comics of Cowman and Dickey Yau - sees Chan Ho Nam, Chicken and the rest of the boys take to the streets of Hong Kong to avenge the death of their boss, Brother Bee.
