Watch The Return Of PROSNORKULUS, The Obscenely Violent Dwarf Warrior

Over the past couple of months I have been getting into some exceedingly strange animation coming out of Australia. It all started quite harmlessly with Ragemelon, but before long I had fallen into the depths of the internet and was sending Michael Cusack's Yolo and Question For Ted to everyone. Just when I thought I couldn't fall any further, I've discovered Prosnorkulus - a hyper-violent webseries about a dwarf warrior and kings and battles and stuff. And blood, and people getting cut in half and exploding heads and blood and gore, and general violence. Okay so it's generous to call it a webseries - part 1 was published a year ago and part 2 launched this week. But I've already watched both episodes twice through and know...

You Are MOST WELCOME To Enjoy This Pair Of Awesome Bangla Trailers!

While I'm a big fan of South Asian films, I must admit that Bangladeshi (Bangla) popular cinema has completely escaped me. Once in a while I'll trawl youtube for trailers, but those searches are typically fruitless, but not today.Yesterday while casually browsing the net I came across a pair of trailers for some big budget Bangla action/comedy features that have suddenly leaped to the top of my must-see list.  Both films are produced by Ananta Jalil, a Bangladeshi industrialist who not only acts, directs, and produces, but also owns a slew of diverse companies in Bangladesh, including an Effluent Treatment Plant, Polo Flat Bread Print Unit, and AJI Apparel Industries Ltd. That is quite a resume. The first film is last summer's biggest box office hit,...

The impressive clip, which actually dates back a few years, got a lot of people excited as it made its way around the net but now the silence has been broken on the sequel as producer Choi Yong-bae has shed light on the production's status.Director Im Pil-sung (Hansel & Gretel, Doomsday Book) recently finished a script which will be helmed by debut filmmaker Park Myung-chun.
