Sometimes, even the most skillfully assembled volley of words can do little to express our feelings or explain our past experiences. There are moments, so great, that they are beyond words or others, so terrible, that could never truly be conveyed with a the help of a dictionary. Throughout modern Korean cinema we've been introduced to characters so badly scarred that they've lost the ability to speak. In Choi Jin-seong's Steel Cold Winter, the young protagonists do speak, but they do so so reluctantly that it's as though they've been robbed of their ability to do so. Feratum 2013 Dispatch, Day 2: The Magic/Irony Of Seeing AT MIDNIGHT I'LL TAKE YOUR SOUL Inside A Church

Needless to say, we're pretty intrigued. Check it out for yourselves below....

My favorite 24-hour horror movie marathon, the Massacre takes place October 12 at the Patio Theater here in Chicago and the guest list is truly surprising. Fans can expect to meet, greet and get stuff signed by Mark Patton, the star of A Nightmare on Elm St. 2, Fred Walton, the director of April Fool's Day and the original classic When A Stranger Calls and last but hardly least, the one and only Gary Sherman, director of such classics as Dead and Buried, Raw Meat, and Vice Squad. The schedule of films looks fun as well. 11:30am - Trailer Trash (Vintage Horror Trailers & Shorts)Noon - Edison's Frankenstein (Silent with Live Organ!)12:30pm - Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman2pm - The Tomb of Ligeia3:45pm - Martin5:30pm - Dead and Buried (dir.
