Come April 8th, the 2014 edition of Imagine begins, Amsterdam's annual genre film festival. This week the festival's website revealed the first few titles, and an impressive shortlist it is! First up: The Raid 2, which is much anticipated in Amsterdam, as the first one won the festival audience award two years ago, with an insane 9.3 out of 10. Second title: The Wind Rises, Miyazaki Hayao's supposed last film (even though the man is a proven workaholic who can't stop). Third: Terry Gilliam's The Zero Theorem. Fingers crossed the man himself might be there as well, he has a habit of popping up in Amsterdam. Fourth is Witching & Bitching, the latest insane offering by Alex de la Iglesia. As we wait in anticipation of Production I.G's Giovanni's Island the studio has passed along a new international trailer to share with you. And, it comes with English subs. Diao Yinan's BLACK COAL, THIN ICE Leads Berlin 2014 Winners

Black Coal, Thin Ice - a mainland Chinese murder mystery from director Diao Yinan (Night Train) - has won the Golden Bear for best film at the Berlin International Film Festival, as well as the Silver Bear for Best Actor for Liao Fan. Richard Linklater was named Best Director for Boyhood, Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel won the Grand Jury Prize, while Japanese actress Kuroki Haru was named Best Actress for her role in Yamada Yoji's The Little House.Other winners included Alain Resnais's Aimer, Boire, et Chanter which collected the Alfred Bauer prize, Dietrich & Anna Bruggemann's Stations of the Cross, while the Golden Bear for Best Short Film went to As Long As Shotguns Remain from Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel.Full list of...
