The film is written and directed by Matt Campagna (Six Reasons Why). This is the first film in Canada to be shot on the new Sony A7S Camera, the world's first 4K full-frame camera.An eccentric billionaire spirals out of control at the extravagant launch party for his new werewolf mobile game. | ONE MILLION KLICKS Trailer Introduces The Ass-Kicking Skills Of Mike Moeller Posted: 07 Aug 2014 10:34 PM PDT  The first trailer has just popped up for German language martial arts flick One Million Klicks, and showcases some pretty impressive fighting skills. The first project from production company Silent Partners, recently formed by Ruediger Kummerle and Mike Leeder, One Million Klicks stars Mike Moeller, who has worked with everyone from Donnie Yen and Steven Seagal to Hung Yan Yan and Kane Kosugi. Most recently, Moeller was part of the stunt team for Ernie Barbarash's Pound of Flesh starring Jean Claude Van Damme, which recently wrapped filming in China. | GOK-SEONG (곡성): Third Film Coming From Director Of THE CHASER And THE YELLOW SEA Posted: 07 Aug 2014 08:10 PM PDT  Na Hong-jin, director of lauded Korean thrillers The Chaser and The Yellow Sea, is prepping his third feature film, Gok-seong, or The Wailing. Fox International Pictures is backing the film. Fox Korea, which handles distribution of 20th Century Fox films in Korea, is working with the production. Filming should begin by the end of this year, with aims to release in early 2015. Fox distributed The Yellow Sea in Korea and North America back in 2010The film will star Kwak Do-wan (The Attorney and The Yellow Sea) and Hwang Jeong-min (The New World and Private Eye). One report suggests that Kitano Takeshi's name is floating around casting circles. Actress Cheon Woo-hee joins the production in the role of 'Anonymous'. Fifty years later, the question is, Why would anyone want to make a new version of Twister? As someone who once stood, fascinated, in downtown Fort Worth, Texas, watching a storm a couple of blocks away before a woman said, "Hey, that's a twister!," I can certainly testify to the endless appeal of giant freaking storms. Is it fair to call the rise of Astron-6 meteoric? | Review: WHAT IF Pretends To Be A Modern, Hip Romantic Comedy Posted: 07 Aug 2014 08:01 AM PDT  Romantic comedies that discredit the integrity of a main character lose me entirely. Near the beginning of the new romantic comedy What If (titled The F Word in other territories), directed by Michael Dowse (Goon), the character played by Daniel Radcliffe makes it clear that he hates cheating. His parents set a bad example for him, cheating early and often in their relationship before calling it quits when he was in his early teens. (Then, evidently, they both died, because they're never seen or heard from again.) Therefore, he detests that sort of thing, and it's the reason he broke up with his last girlfriend a year before the movie begins. | Review: THE DOG, An Engrossing Look At The Real Guy Behind DOG DAY AFTERNOON Posted: 07 Aug 2014 07:01 AM PDT  Highly entertaining if slightly indulgent, The Dog looks at the life of John Wojtowicz, the man who was portrayed by Al Pacino in Sidney Lumet's classic Dog Day Afternoon. Wojtowicz is a pretty fascinating guy who crammed more than his share of lives into his time on earth, and we learn from a series of frank and, at times, filthy interviews about his various escapades. To the film's credit, it effectively situates his life within the nascent gay rights movement of the early 70s, showcasing through a series of vintage documentary footage the environment in which the more celebrated events of Dog Day Afternoon took place.
