Soon to have its world premiere at the Fantasia Festival in Montreal, Twitch is pleased to present the first five images and a pair of posters for Sarah Adina Smith's The Midnight Swim.Spirit Lake is unusually deep. No diver has ever managed to find the bottom. When Dr. Amelia Brooks disappears during a deep-water dive, her three daughters travel home. They find themselves unable to let go and become drawn into the mysteries of the lake. Dario Argento Hurt In Fall, Confined To Weeks Of Home Care

Iconic Italian director Dario Argento has reportedly suffered a number of injuries in a fall and been confined to home care until the end of July. According to manager Paolo Zaleti, Argento has sustained injuries to his head, back, neck and ribs and though discharged from hospital is under doctor's orders to rest until the end of July and is at home with a personal assistant caring for him....

Kurosawa And Asano Reunite For JOURNEY TO THE SHORE

After some false starts it appears Japanese auteur Kurosawa Kiyoshi has himself a new project and he's bringing a familiar face with him.Film Biz Asia reports that Kurosawa's Bright Future star Asano Tadanobu will take the male lead opposite Fukatsu Eri in an adaptation of Yumoto Kazumi's novel Journey To The Shore. Fukatsu plays a woman whose husband (Asano) suddently reappears following a three year absence.With releases already scheduled in France and Japan this one is moving ahead quickly and given that their last collaboration was a high point for both, fans of both Asano and Kurosawa should be looking ahead for this one....

Wong Kar Wai Adapting Romantic Drama I BELONGED TO YOU

Hong Kong auteur Wong Kar Wai appears to have his next project, author Zhang Jiajia posting on his Weibo account that WKW has licensed a short tale called The Ferryman from his collection I Belonged To You. The story revolves around a woman having an affair with a married artist and while backers Mei Ah had already announced that Wong would be shooting something in 2015 this is the first indication as to what. A very popular anthology of stories, several other segments of I Belonged To You have reportedly been licensed for adaptation by other film companies though WKW's segment will almost certainly be the most high profile for international audiences....

ATTACK ON TITAN: Watch The Teaser For The First Feature Film

An overwhelming international hit on both the printed page and television screen, acclaimed manga and anime Attack On Titan is poised to conquer the big screen as well.Director Araki Tetsuro returns to the controls to edit the existing television series into a pair of feature films which will be redubbed and mixed in 5.1 sound with the first (Crimson Bow And Arrow) compiled from footage taken from the first thirteen television episodes and to be released on Japanese screens November 22nd with the second (Wings Of Freedom) culled from episodes 14 - 25 and arriving in early 2015. On June 20, the Vietnamese Film Department officially sent documents to the Inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the disposal of the film Apartment Number 69 (original title: Căn hộ số 69), which released online on Youtube. This latest action make people think that the Vietnamese Film Department wants to take control of films on Youtube too.Apartment Number 69 is a short sitcom series revolving around three young men and women living together in an apartment. Pitched as an autobiographical piece about and by the creator of Cat Eyed Boy and Left Hand Of God, Right Hand Of The Devil the first teaser for Umezu's Mother has arrived with Kataoka Ainosuke playing the stripey shirted mangaka.
